Business smart was demanded of the pioneers for lunch at the British High Commission in Delhi, but SBA are firm believers that the corporate look doesn't have to be boring. A woman who heads up a department at Deloitte once told me, in a bright pink dress, not to be afraid to be corporate and colourful because it can also help clients/recruiters remember you. So instead of black suit pants, I went with these Topshop blue and silver cigarette pants, popped up my white shirt with a gold lace collar necklace, and added my trusty black blazer and heels.
After a day of meetings, we headed back to the Taj hotel in Delhi for cocktails and canapes hosted by Virgin Atlantic. I swapped my shirt for a more casual tee and a colourful necklace, then hit the party to give Richard Branson my 30 second pitch over dinner. As you do :-).
