Playing with...Accessories

The biggest complaint we heard while we were in Harare (style related obviously, not general in life) is that there is no where to shop. There are a couple of places but a lot of them are crazy expensive, selling Primark/Forever21/Zara at more than 10x the price you'd get them for anywhere else. We've been told by radio DJ Lorraine Charlotte that you can find some gems at the second hand clothes market 'Muphezanhamo'  (brilliantly translates to 'the place all financial problems end'), but generally most people said they didn't shop that often. 

Thus you must discover the power of the accessory, that can make "what, this old thing!" look like like a whole new shebang. Statement accessories are also very useful for distracting attention from bad hair days or spotty face days. Just sayin....
